»Student Community«, 2001

In cooperation with Tim Bennet.

We connencted our studios with a tunnel, leading through the room nr.238. This room is between our rooms and was closed, so it seems to be disappeared. Visitors could watch through each hole which was digged inside room nr.239 and nr.237. The illusion of a massive wall appeared to be real and any noises the people made were swallowed by the y-tong stones.

»California«, 2002

I digged two 12cm holes from the former kitchen at the gallery space into the next room. If one played from the tee and tried to hit the golf balls into the holes, the ball would jump out inside the next room. There was a solarium running which could be used for a sunbath.

»For Takeaway«, 2003

The 10 years old art space was once a machine factory and built for extreme tensions about 2tonns per square meter. So each coloumn used to be constructed for stabilising the entire space. Today it is a spcace used for contemporary art and has different function. I chose on column od 20, took some concrete off and replaced it with a wood plaster construction shaped like a old vase. My intention was to make the column look cut in two pieces and a vase put inside the gap.
