»Recollection«, 2002

Five channel video installation, (1 min. Excerpt) A set of five monitors is placed one atop the other inside a column. A human form descends, top montior, into the lower, while is reconstructed by the successive monitors. This body, through spaceand time, now descends through the column, leaving a mental resuide on a blurry screen. This action marks witness the journey of the body. The image begins to disintegrate as the body disappears from the screen leaving only an empty white space to be transversed once again.

»Portrait«, 2003

Single-channel rear projection. A 45 minutes self-portrait video loop of the artists in extreme slow motion, where a play of the gaze takes place. (24 inches by 36 inches) The frame is installed on a wall so the rear projection is behind that wall and the viewer realizes the movement of the eyes after “looking” at the picture for more than five minutes.
